Kylie is the assistant in the Monday through Thursday 4s room.
Kylie is originally from New Zealand, where she completed her teacher training and moved to the US in 2014 with her husband and four girls. Prior to moving to the US, Kylie and her family lived in Dubai, where her youngest daughter was born. While she was there she taught both the 3 and 4-year-old age groups in one of the international schools.
In 2018, Kylie became a permanent sub for CCP and then became an assistant the following year. Kylie is excited to be a part of the team at CCP and is very passionate about children’s learning and development.
She says, “I have taught various aged kids in two others countries and it soon became obvious that my passion for teaching is with the younger children and early years. I love the energy that small children bring to the class, they’re inquiring minds and funny statements they come out with. I love seeing children making connections in their learning via their play and social interactions. When children have a safe and stimulating environment, they thrive and I am always amazed at how quickly they progress and am honoured to be part of that process!”
