Anne
Anne is the Lead teacher in the Monday through Thursday 4’s class.
Anne has lived in the Greensboro/Summerfield area for many years. Her work experience began as a cosmetologist for Leon’s style salons. After taking time off to start a family and be a stay at home mom, she returned to work as a pharmacy technician. In 2002, Anne joined CCP in the toddler classroom. After a year, Anne became the lead in that room. In 2010, Anne also worked where she is now as the 4-year-old assistant teacher. In 2011, Anne retired to take care of her grandson and returned in 2016 to her current position in the 5 day 4’s classroom.
Anne enjoys knitting, sewing, quilting, making Christmas ornaments, reading and spending time with her family. Anne enjoys what she does here at CCP. She says, “Working with four-year-olds is very rewarding for me. I love seeing how the children learn new skills during the school year. In our class we are always introducing new challenges to the children during circle time, art, science experiments, dancing to silly music, cooking and just having fun! Watching the children learn, grow and develop new and lasting friendships is very fulfilling as a teacher.”
